From 9 September to 12 September Kinhdo North in coordination with Vietnam Children Fund, Hanoi Moi newspaper, the Vietnam Society for the Aiding of Disabled Children, Gia Lam Association for the Blind, etc. visited and gave moon cake festival presents to poor children, disabled children, blind families with small youngsters, and children in backward and flood-affected areas of Ha Giang, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Phu Tho... Over 2000 presents were given in person bringing them some joy during the festival.

Especially noticeable was the cooperation between Kinhdo, Ngươi Lao Dong newspaper, and Kind-Hearted Fund to organize a moon cake festival program for children in Vinh Kien, Yen Binh, Yen Bai, which had been badly hit by diluvial rain.  On this occasion Mr Nguyen Quan Trung, headmaster of Vinh Kien school, overwhelmingly said: “This is a nice surprise for the kids. Many of them did not have books or pens to start the new school year because our school was damaged and many of you, businesses and the media, do not forget us. We all are so nicely surprised to be given to the joy of this humanly warm festival night.”
